wunderloop appoints Dr. Christoph Bauer as CFO

Former CFO of AOL Germany Moves to Market Leader in Online Targeting

wunderloop, European market leader in integrated behavioral advertising and content targeting, today announced the appointment of Dr. Christoph Bauer as CFO and COO. He will be responsible for finance, controlling, accounting, legal and human resources. Before joining wunderloop, Bauer held the CFO position with AOL Germany.

Christoph Bauer (44) possesses a comprehensive know-how and expertise in building and establishing structures, processes and systems; competencies he acquired during his eight year career with AOL. During this period, AOL Germany became profitable and continuously improved its market position. Prior to that, the experienced business economist worked for corporate controlling with Bertelsmann AG. Here, he significantly promoted the further development of methods and systems for controlling and reporting. Bauer holds a MBA degree and a Ph.D. in finance.

MPG (Havas), AOL, Tom Group, Ernst & Young and AdLINK Executives Join Board

LUXEMBOURG, February 15, 2007 – wunderloop, the market leader in integrated behavioural advertising and content targeting, today announced the founding members of its advisory board. This follows the recent announcement that wunderloop had received investment from Klaus Hommels (“European Angel Investor of 2006”), Atomico Investments (Skype and Joost co-founder, Niklas Zennström’s investment group) and Howard Hartenbaum (top venture capitalist of 2006 in the Forbes Midas List and General Partner of Draper Richards), amongst others.

wunderloop’s advisory board will be chaired by Michael Kleindl, co-founder and former CEO of AdLINK, and comprises:

  • Maria Luisa Francoli – CEO of MPG, Havas Media global media network. Previously CEO of Media Contacts, Havas Media interactive arm. Ms. Francoli will be instrumental in bringing a hands-on approach to leading advertisers and brand owners worldwide, which is key to the effective deployment of wunderloop’s disruptive technology
  • Stan Laurent – CEO of Photoways Group and previously AOL Europe’s Chief Operating Officer and Director for Strategy, Finance and Operations at AOL Bertelsmann. Mr Laurent brings to wunderloop an extensive network and knowledge within the leading media companies and portals across Europe.
  • Ekkehard Rathgeber – COO of Tom Group, the leading Greater China Media Group (associated company of Hutchison Whampoa) and previously President of Bertelsmann Direct Group who set up BOL, Arvato Systems, Bertelsmann Asia Publishing and Arvato Services in China. Mr Rathgeber’s unparalleled experience and contacts will be invaluable in the establishment of wunderloop within the Asian markets.
  • Alois Fluck – Partner at Ernst & Young responsible for Central European Transaction Advisory Services in the internet business for multi-national groups. Mr. Fluck will spearhead wunderloop’s corporate development by drawing on his years of merger and acquisition experience across both public and private markets.
